New Delhi: Amid ongoing controversies surrounding the National Testing Agency (NTA), the agency announced on June 21 that the combined CSIR-UGC-NET exam has been postponed due to “unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues.”
The announcement read, “Unavoidable circumstances and logistical challenges have caused the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024, which was scheduled to be held between June 25 and June 27, to be postponed. Through the official website, the updated timetable for this examination will be made public later. It has been requested of candidates to visit the official website often.
This comes just a few days after the Union Education Ministry canceled UGC-NET in response to suggestions from the Union Home Ministry that the test’s integrity had been compromised.
