Bengaluru: Mashreq, a MENA-based financial company, has named Tushar Vikram as its new CEO and Country Head for India, effective June 2024.
Tushar, a seasoned business banker with a career spanning three decades, will be responsible for the strategy and development of the Bank’s operations in India. Before joining Mashreq, Tushar was the Group Head of Investment Banking at HDFC Bank, where he oversaw the Project Finance, Equity, Debt Capital Markets, and M&A activities. Tushar served in a variety of capacities at Citibank for 27 years, including Credit Processes, Investment and Structured Finance, Risk Management, and Commercial Bank.
He has expertise in the development of sustainable growth strategies and the navigation of intricate financial landscapes, owing to his extensive experience in strategic financial management, corporate finance, and investment banking. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and possesses a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Delhi University.
