Sohna: Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan, has announced the appointment of Siddhartha Gupta as president of Mercer’s India division.
Gupta, who most recently held the position of chief executive officer of Mercer Mettl, brings a plethora of experience and knowledge to this position. Gupta will join the leadership teams of Mercer in the India, Middle East, and Africa region and Marsh McLennan in India. He will report to Sanjay Kedia, the company’s chief executive officer in India.
Prior to his stint at Mercer, Gupta was the new CEO of Next Education India Pvt Ltd as of March 2023. He was previously the Chief Revenue Officer at Unacademy and held other key roles there. Before Unacademy, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group and ITC Ltd. Gupta has an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal.
