New Delhi: The Azerbaijan Government in collaboration with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) has launched a program to invite investments from Indian and other international businesses in the technology sector. The initiative is centered around the country’s Technopark and offers comprehensive tax benefits and relocation assistance to support tech firms in expanding their business in the Eurasian market.
The key features of the initiative include:
10-year “tax haven” status for Technopark residents, providing a 0% personal income tax on monthly salaries up to $4,700 (5% above this threshold).
Full exemption from corporate tax, property tax, land tax, and tax on dividends.
Streamlined migration processes with work permit exemptions for IC specialists and senior executives.
Comprehensive relocation assistance, including help with residency permits, office space acquisition, and lodging arrangements.
The package is designed to attract Indian and other international technology companies in order to position Azerbaijan as a tech hub in the region, thereby providing opportunities for growth and stability in the technology sector.
