Mumbai: LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, has introduced the ‘AI-Smart Underwriter’ solution in partnership with ServiceNow. The collaboration aims to streamline and enhance the underwriting process for insurers. This solution offers a centralized, AI-driven platform that automates tasks including submission intake and policy renewals. By using this platform, underwriters can access a unified view of risks and leverage advanced data insights for faster decision-making on critical areas like risk selection and pricing.
According to Nachiket Deshpande, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Whole-time Director at LTIMindtree, this platform aligns with the company’s strategy to integrate AI into every aspect of business. The platform will reduce manual work, enabling underwriters to focus on business-related decisions with the support of automation and data analytics.
Under the partnership, LTIMindtree’s digital consulting expertise will be combined with Service Now’s unified AI platform to provide a more agile, adaptive, and intelligent underwriting solution for employees. Erica Volini, SVP of Global Partnerships at ServiceNow, emphasized that the AI-Smart Underwriter platform will offer insurers scalable, data-driven services that boost operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
