New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has appointed Ashish Bhatnagar and Debasish Mukherjee as Executive Directors.
Ashish Bhatnagar holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jodhpur University. He started his career at ONGC as an Assistant Executive Engineer in Mehsana. With over three decades of experience, he has worked across key ONGC locations, including Mehsana, Nazira, Dehradun, Mumbai, ONGC Videsh Limited, and Delhi, building strong operational and leadership expertise.
Debasish Mukherjee is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Jadavpur University, with an MBA from IGNOU and a PhD in Management from Amity University, Noida. He joined ONGC as a Materials Management Officer in Dehradun and has worked across major locations, including Dehradun, Chennai, Delhi, and Jorhat. With 35 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in materials management, administration, and strategic operations.
The appointments of Bhatnagar and Mukherjee highlight ONGC’s focus on developing internal leadership and retaining experienced talent at senior levels. Their decades of domain knowledge and operational experience are expected to strengthen operational efficiency, improve strategic execution, and support ONGC’s long-term growth.
