New Delhi, August 5(APAC Media): Profound has launched a new AI platform called AI Rep, which creates AI-powered digital representatives for professionals.
The startup was founded by former Swiggy and Zomato executives Anuj Rathi and Prashant Parashar. It has also raised $1.5 million in seed funding from Stellaris Venture Partners, 3one4 Capital, and several well-known technology leaders, including Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy, Pankaj Chaddah, Harshil Mathur, and Bhuvan Gupta.
Profound’s AI Rep learns about a professional through voice conversations. It understands their work experience, skills, and the way they make decisions. Instead of relying only on resumes or online profiles, the AI Rep creates a more detailed digital profile. This can help professionals find better job opportunities, connect with the right people, and increase their visibility. In the future, Profound also plans to launch AI Reps for teams and organizations to make hiring and collaboration easier.
The company has now opened early access to its first users after spending several months developing and testing the product. The newly raised funds will be used to hire more engineers, improve its AI technology, and build a stronger matching engine. Profound aims to bring one million professionals onto the platform worldwide over the next year before launching a wider beta version.
