Nikhil Shembekar joins Brigade Group as its CIO

Bengaluru: Nikhil Shembekar has been appointed the Chief Information Officer of Brigade Group. He was previously serving as the Head of Digital Tech, Manufacturing IT, India Business and Emerging Markets at Sun Pharma.

Shembekar has a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur and a B Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. He has also worked in several key positions in companies like RPG Enterprises and United Spirits Limited.

Experienced in Industry 4.0, Data and Analytics, AI/ML, IT Strategy, Cloud operations and Cyber security, Shembekar has received recognition for his transformation projects at Godrej, RPG Group and Sun Pharma. He was the Winner of the 2012 ITNEXT Next 100 CIO Award, which identifies 100 senior IT managers across India with the skills and talent to become CIOs.

Founded in 1986, the Brigade Group is a real estate developer based in Bengaluru, India. Its portfolio includes residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and educational properties.
