Mumbai: The Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary, has announced the launch of the Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy. It is a platform aimed at preparing India’s youth for future job markets. The launch took place during a national conference titled “Empowering Youth for the Jobs of the Future,” organized by Reliance Foundation in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The initiative focuses on equipping young people with skills that align with the evolving employment landscape. Speaking at the event, Chaudhary emphasized the importance of skill in building a future-ready workforce, highlighting the collaboration between Reliance Foundation and NSDC as a significant step in empowering India’s youth.
Jagannatha Kumar, CEO of Reliance Foundation, underlined the platform’s mission to bridge the gap between education and employment. By leveraging technology, the Reliance Foundation Skilling Academy aims to make skill development accessible and relevant to the changing job market.
The academy will also foster partnerships across sectors to drive innovation in skill development, ensuring that young people are better prepared to navigate the competitive and dynamic global workforce of the future.
