Amit will join the Wipro Executive Board and report to CEO and MD Srini Pallia
Amit Kumar has been appointed by Wipro as the Global Head of Wipro Consulting and Managing Partner, with immediate effect. Amit will join the Wipro Executive Board and report to CEO and MD Srini Pallia.
He will also spearhead the company’s efforts to advise clients through technological and business transformations and propel consulting-led, AI-powered growth, according to the company. In the face of digital disruption, Kumar will use Wipro’s experience to provide revolutionary AI, data, and industry solutions that will support organizations’ expansion and growth.

He spent the last 17 years as the Managing Director of Accenture Consulting, where he oversaw the Americas Market and Industry X Consulting, before joining Wipro.
Amit has a master’s degree in management from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune and graduated from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi. The Greater New York region will serve as his base of operations.
