Mumbai: Accenture Technology has appointed Kishore Durg as the Group Operating Officer, Technology, with effect from December 1, 2024. In this capacity, he will report to Karthik Narain who is the Group Chief Executive of Technology and Chief Technology Officer of the company. Durg will replace Jeremy Oates, who held the position for more than a decade and will retire from Accenture in 2025.
With over 25 years of experience in the global technology industry, Durg currently holds the position of Senior Managing Director at Accenture LearnVantage. He will retain this role with his new responsibility. Additionally, he will continue to be a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council. Previously, Durg has also led Accenture Operations Supply Chain, Industry X, and Networks businesses. Before that, he was at the forefront of the conceptualization, development, and adoption of Accenture Cloud platforms.
An alumnus of the University of Texas, Durg holds an MS degree in Computer Science. He did his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mysore.
