Chennai: IIT-M Pravartak Technologies Foundation, under the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), has partnered with Cambtech Training and Placement firm to launch certification programs aimed at enhancing skills in the Supply Chain and Logistics sector. This collaboration brings together IIT-M’s academic excellence and Cambtech’s industry expertise to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the field.
The certification programs are designed to provide participants with practical, hands-on experience through a virtual learning platform. This platform employs Artificial Intelligence to simulate real-life corporate environments, allowing students to engage in financial transactions and other industry-relevant tasks in real-time. The first batch of the program will commence on January 1, 2025.
The highlights of the Program are:

Courses will be offered in Supply Chain Management, Chartering Practice, Port and Terminal Management, and International Liners Trade

Students will be provided with real-life simulation using a virtual AI-powered corporate environment for learning.

Comprehensive problem sets and hands-on training modules will be incorporated.

Preparation for competitive exams in the logistics and supply chain sectors will also be offered.

Joint certification will be given by Cambtech and IITM Pravartak upon course completion.
Mangala Sunder, Founder of Digital Skills Academy at IITM Pravartak, emphasized that the initiative aims to equip graduates and employees from diverse industrial backgrounds with the skills needed for employment and reskilling in the logistics and supply chain sectors.
