New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University [IGNOU] in Delhi has announced the launch of 13 new programs in new disciplines, across its various schools. These courses aim to incite IGNOU’s plan to make education more accessible and relevant. The key focus is on inclusive education, by introducing certificate programs in Early Childhood Special Education.
These programs serve teachers working with children, with intellectual inability, visual impairments, and hearing blight. Other new programs include M.Sc. in home science – Community Development and Extension Management. The university is also offering MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Healthcare and Hospital Management, Construction Management, and Agribusiness Management to overcome the rising needs of these mobile sectors. For individuals inclined toward Disaster Preparedness and Mental Health, PG Diplomas in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Rehabilitation Psychology will be offered.
The courses were announced on the occasion of the 29th Prof. G . Ram Reddy Memorial event. The event was planned to esteem the university’s founding vice-chancellor too.
