Chennai: At the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Department of Medical Sciences and Technology, the CMD of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) officially unveiled a hi-tech anatomy lab. With the help of a CSR grant of Rs 16.5 crore from PFC, this state-of-the-art facility is aimed to enhance medical research and teaching in India.
Highlights of the Anatomy Laboratory Supported by PFC:
- The lab is built to make use of and develop cutting-edge technology for efficient teaching and learning in the BS Degree Program in Medical Sciences & Engineering.
- The dry anatomy lab satisfies medical college requirements.
- With the lab, students can learn in a novel setting and receive practical experience in anatomy.
PFC claims that having access to this state-of-the-art facility will encourage the creation of domestic goods, lowering the country’s dependency on imports and boosting self-sufficiency in the medical industry.
