Bhopal: The government of Madhya Pradesh has undertaken a significant bureaucratic reshuffle under which it has announced the transfers and fresh postings of 10 officers of the Indian Police Service.
Among the key transfers, IPS Mithlesh Kumar Shukla (2006 batch) has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police (IG) of the Narmadapuram division. He previously served as the IG of the Gwalior range.
Other notable transfers include:
IPS Meenakshi Sharma (1995 batch) currently the Additional Police Commissioner in Bhopal, has been made the Additional Police Commissioner for Community Policing and the RTI department at the Police Headquarters.
IPS Irshad Wali (2004 batch) IPS officer, previously serving as the IG of Narmadapuram division, has now been appointed as the IG at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal.
IPS Tushar Kant Vidyarthi (2009 batch) who was working as Additional IG in Jabalpur, has now been transferred and posted as Additional IG at the Police Headquarters in Bhopal. IPS Atul Singh, also from the 2009 batch, will be replacing him as Additional IG in Jabalpur.
IPS Ajay Pandey (2012 batch ) has become the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chhindwara.
IPS Ramji Shrivastava (2013 batch) and IPS Manish Khatri (2016 batch) have been appointed as SPs of Shahdol and Singrauli districts, respectively.
IPS Arvind Saxena, currently the IG of Gwalior, has been given additional charge of Special Armed Force (SAF), Gwalior.
IPS Nivedita Gupta, presently SP of Singrauli, has been posted as Commandant of the 8th Battalion of SAF, Chhindwara.
IPS Rakesh Gupta, currently Officer on Special Duty (OSD) of the Chief Minister, has been given the additional charge of ADG of SAF, Police Headquarters.
